Hello Britany. I write to you from Argentina, I've been subscribed to One More Question for a little more than a year now. Your words inspired me to keep on pursuing this craft while the pandemic was at one of its peaks. So, hoping that this doesn't come out as intrusive and even as a "gracias", I'll tell you something about my own story.

I was born when my mom was entering the sixth month of pregnancy. She, being a school teacher, and my dad, being a pediatrician, were scared. They'd just faced the death of a baby boy a year before. I weighed 900 grams, the smallest diaper available looked like an XXL on my tiny body and I had to stay in the NICU for 2 months and a half. My mom still shows me some of the pictures that she was able to take back then. I slowly got stronger and nowadays the short reminder that I am premature comes in the form of glasses. I had severe myopia that was diagnosed when I was 8 months old.

On my first birthday, I was already wearing glasses. All of this is just to say that... even with my poor English, other families have faced the same challenge that you're going through right now, the worrying, the stress, the unexpressed love, and the feeling of helplessness... My dad was worried about my IQ, my lungs, and my loss of appetite. You should see me now, he asks me to go easy with the food... hehe. I wish you the best, my thoughts and prayers go to you and the mesmerizing beauty of your beautiful Fiona. I'm sure you'd have some great news a few weeks from now. Un abrazo. Daniela.
