Money is such a difficult subject. Especially if you're from a low income background - it's almost embarrassing. Yet you are absolutely right in saying we should take a hold! I want to make more money from my writing to set myself up for my future, to be able to buy my own home so that I can bring children into a stable environment. I want to live a life with freedom, happiness and love. I want to experience the world and become a better person, a better writer. My writing needs more time taken over it. It needs to sit and develop to become the best story it can be. Lastly, my limiting beliefs are that I've held onto thinking earning from writing is a pipe dream. That it will never happen, and that no one wants to pay for my words. I am working class, and should stay as such. This is damaging, and through your brilliant piece of writing and advice, I am definitely going to look to change that. Thank you Britany for being a real, honest and thoughtful person.

Thanks for this post Britany! You made me think about several things. I'm grateful for your perspective on spending the night alone in a kind of scary place, because I'm going to be roadtripping and camping alone for the first time soon—I'm sure I'll run into scenarios just like this. I've also never put a lot of thought into aligning my money with my personal intentions and values before, which, when you think about, is just DUH. I'm aligning everything else with intention and value! Of course my job and the money I make from it, an area we spend much of our time and energy, should be too. Thank you!
